Getting lucky !!

I am having a better luck this year I suppose. Haha

I had participated in the 'First Running Shoe ' campaign by Adidas early this year , and guess out my boyfriend and I are among the 100 lucky participants who are lucky enough to be chosen.

For all lucky winners !

Although it's not like we are getting  the shoes for free but it's still cheaper then the market price.

All I know is that for both male and female version of the shoes, the market price will be rm230 . Now we only paid rm99 each ! More than 50% discount !

The male and children version will be in a neon yellow green colour and the female version will be in lilac .

These shoes are made from reflective material so that when you run in the dark, you will not be knock down by the car easily.

Gyu kaku Japanese BBQ Restaurant @ Tropicana City Mall

 

Disposable bib provided to avoid staining your precious clothing 

The place look promising but that all it was. All looks but no bite . The so called premium meat what sub par at best , kind of thing that they must have bought it from carrefour downstairs .

Their appetizer , their cow tongue was overly cooked I think and it did not smell like cow . The texture feel like you are eating the rubber compound found on playground rubber mat.

The lamb chop was overly fatty and the rest of the meat are not worth mentioning.

Cooking on charcoal is a good idea provided you can control the flame, otherwise the food will be burnt . Clearly they are no way to control the fire , so it's clearly not for the beginner chef.

All in all , Gyu kaku is the reason why you don't judge a book by the cover. I will give it a 2/10.

Guerlain Rouge Automatique 661 Review

I bought this as a Christmas present for myself last year at Sephora Paradigm Mall . This is their 2013 Holiday Collection in Crazy Paris , which I suppose is a limited edition ? 

It is actually my first Guerlain product and also my first lipstick ! 

Anyway , looking at the packaging , you could notice a obvious difference .

This is not the normal open and twist type of lipstick but a slide down type , which i find rather convenient . You wouldn't be worried about a missing cap or something. Haha!

I don't actually remember the actual price for it but I think it's about rm118

Under yellow light but colour is not that accurate after drinking and what not

This is a neon pink colour and It is quite long lasting .

Italianies@ paradigm mall

A quick snack in Italy

After a nice movie with a stupid ending(I.frankenstein) I was feeling peckish. Walking around in paradigm mall I found myself in front of italianies. 

I've always been rather fond of pizzas so I thought I would step in for a quick snack.

We sat down and we were instantly served bread in the traditional Italian way. Plain with olive oil and vinaigrette. Nice simple tart and just wonderful. The bread was nice and soft. It just works. Got to leave it to the Italians for coming up with such a simple yet elegant way to eat bread. 

I was thinking of having the margherita pizza but I was also feeling carnivorous. So I had an all time classic which is the pepperoni pizza. It came in about 20 minutes which was great. I don't like to wait forever for my food.

The pizza came and it smelt wonderful. I always think that food should activate all your senses and this did it very well. The tomato sauce was smooth with very fragrant spices wafting around in your nose. The cheese was creamy. For people who don't like cheese this might be a good thing but I prefer my cheese slightly heavier. The sprinkling of rocket on the pizza was just the right contrast to the creamy rich sauce. Perfectly balanced. I would not think for a moment that this would lack as compared to the pizzas found on the streets of Milan. Simply, I give this pizza a 9/10

Laneige Waterbank Double Moisture Mask review

I have got my  Laneige Waterbank Double Moisture Mask  during Christmas along with their Laneige water bank set .

This mask is different with the other sheet  mask that  I normally use. Firstly, it's because it is a double layer mask which you could not find it abundantly in the market . Next, the texture of the essence of the mask is quite different, it feels rather oily .

The lower layer of the mask look like this.

The upper layer of the mask looks the same as any other ordinary mask.

The texture of the Laneige sheet mask is rather different as it's is rougher and a bit thicker than my usual My Beauty Diary mask but not as thick as the mask from The FaceShop.

The mask really do what it claim to be : cover up every spot of the face ( except the eyes of course)

After leaving it on my face for 30 min, my skin do feel more hydrated. Not only that my skin is also brighten up. 

The only issue with it is that , it left my T zone area feels oily after an hour or so.

The mask is quite good but the problem is that it's quite cumbersome to use due to its double layer nature.

It does hydrates and brightens the skin  but for the cost of it , I think it could do a better job.

Mr Right

 ' Is he the one ?' 

Every girl will face this question at least once in their life .

What make you think that he is the one ? What makes a guy so special to you ? 

Is it because of his looks ?

His intelligence?

His social background ? 

His wealth ? 

There is no guide book in finding who is the one . It's pure instinct . It's fate I suppose . On the one fine day , you have a sudden urge to be with this particular guy who you feel will keeps you happy forever . But how long is forever ? No one knows ....

There is this one fine day , when I was sooo innocent ( don't laugh ) , I met this  guy who is quite smart , quite good looking 😐 and doesn't seems to speak my mother tongue try to ask me out for a movie and dinner . And because it's a fine day (and I wanted to eat good steak ) I decided to not stay at home . I went  out with this particular guy who later ask me to be his girlfriend . Can you believe that the reason behind this is that he feels comfortable around me ? 

Anyway keep long story shorty we begin this relationship secretly for about a month or two because I am worried that it won't work out and it's too much for me to bear the questions that will be thrown on me .

Later because of some nosy friend the whole world knows. Surprisingly I could cope up with it .

It started fine , he knows things I don't know . I have good food . I went to places that I have never been . He is funny , I am cute (lol) .

I have little gifts every month . Then in the 100th day . I got a bouquet of  roses ( although I did not react like a normal girl ... I basically grab him and run away from the crowd) .  It's still a lovely memory since it's my first bouquet of roses and perhaps my last because he doesn't want to surprise me with flower anymore . Though I think I will still react the same way if it happens today .

Since I work part time during holidays , he will come and accompany me although he could only watch me from far and although he has his finals at that time .

I got my first birthday present from him. A Fossil watch which I really like. 

Then it's his birthday I got him a plane model ( warhammer ) 

Then one year had past ... We both gain weight .

The second year past with a few additional toy bears and a very cute rabbit . We have done so many silly things and experiment together .

We spend the third year in the UK . A nice little town called Aberystwyth . He became my chef spending time in the kitchen more than studying . I have spent my year there eating tasty home cooked food , even better food that I had in malaysia .

Today it's the 42 month we have been together . Hope our love could continue to  be strong .
