The place isn't hard to find as long as you know your way around Kota damansara . I think the main idea for this bakery is simplicity and youthful innocent and this they did pull it off . The decor exuded innocence and it had a very homely feel . It definitely is a nice place to go for afternoon tea .
Now on to the cakes , the first one we try was the red velvet cake . The frosting was nice and tasted of white chocolate . The red velvet was mediocre and had a very strong smell of raisins .
The second cake we tried was the yam cake . It's difinitely not the Chinese yam basket that some will expect. It has a very fresh feel and the level of sweetness was just right . Resorting in a very pleasant experience . The nuts on the top made it even better .
We also tried the daily special which was homemade fruit tea . It had a large variety of fruits in it , most of them on the sour side . There was orange , apple , peach , grape fruit , passion fruit and pineapple . These was mixed with a black tea infusion which is a very refreshing drink on a hot summers day which in malaysia, is everyday unless it's raining
Other than this the shop also has a large variety of sandwiches and burgers but I believe most people go there for the cakes
In conclusion , I give this restaurant and overall of 8/10 , a must go to cake lovers or just people looking for a place to go , to spend a lovely rainy afternoon
