My skin has been getting more sensitive and dry after i came to the uk. after i search through my stack of skincare that i brought from malaysia, i found this!

Arsainte Eco-Therapy Crystal Water is a product of a korean skincare company The Face Shop. it is design for people with dry skin condition.

Description

• A reactivating mask that infuses the skin with oxygen and brightens the skin tone

• Moisturizing effects - Mannitol

• Calms skin irritation - Panthenol

• Deep detoxifying effect – Oxygen carrier ingredient

how to use: 

• apply after toner 
• wait for 1 minute for the bubble to form.
• pat bubble into skin
• wash with warm water 

Review:

i like the bubbling effect that it gave and the fact that it does not sting my face during application. 

it did left my skin feels abit hydrated . the reason i use 'abit' is because my skin still feel dry and tight after application. i am not sure whether it is because my skin is too dry or its because the product is not so effective.
  moreover since my skin tone is uneven , having a brightening effect is a plus point! however the effect is not really that obvious

p/s: this is my first time doing a review. please leave comment on ways to improve.

things i bought in poundland

I actually bought alot of things in poundland since the day i came here from food , bowls to cleaning equipment.

In my opinion, the only real value item that i have bought here is the sally hansen maximum growth plus nail colour i sacred scarlet!

this is because it cost more that rm 15 in malaysia the last time i checked and now its just rm 5 after conversion.

According to its description , it not only helps our nails to grow faster but also nourish our nails . This is  most probably due to the fact that it has soy protein and vitamin A,C and E in it.:

Moreover, from what i have notice, the nail polish dries up quite fast too.

However, i also bought a not so good item in poundland too which is the allura nail polish remover pad. i need at least 10 pad to remove the nail polish in one hand. this is so not cost effective and it waste alot of my time when i am doing so. i am so regret that i bought this . :(

amazon kindle 3/ kindle keyboard

here is something new for a change! something good and happy for my blog!! my boyfriend bought me a kindle 3 as my christmas birthday this year! although christmas is still two months away but he thinks i need it now so its an early present. :D

 the thing is casing is not included in the gift,so i need to fork out money for it. this is not because that he is stingy but we are both student and studying in uk cost alot so he could afford to spent so much money on a present.

 i search on ebay for about two days eyeing the best casing that suit my kindle. i am aiming on something special , colourful young etc. but i end up in a black Amazon Kindle Lighted Leather Cover, casing. so different right?

 but this casing is so cool . there is an led light and its made up of leather. according to my research this thing cost around  50 pounds to 80 pounds retail or if you search on ebay it might be around 25 pounds to 99 pounds. guess what?!

 i bought it for less than 20 pounds because its on sale!!
this is the only reason i am willing to fork up such money on casings plus there is a one year limited warranty!! photos below!!

           the inside of the casing is made out of a felt like material. the kindle is hook on the cover.

the led light(placed on the upper right hand corner of the cover) is for night time reading. this is why it is called 'lighted' leather cover. moreover there is no battery needed for the light as it uses energyfrom the kindle itself. i think this is to reduce the weight of the cover. thats all for now!! toodles

the start of something new

it had been a long time since i decided to blog again. the reason behind this is that i had been busy for a very long time and sometimes i dont want to be reminded on the unhappy memory that i have ben through. moreover, i hope that i can bring some happiness into my blog so that i will not only blog when i am sad. a quick intro on why i had this blog name " a little bit about macchiato' i am not really into coffe and i am not addicted to macchiato. the only reason i choose this as my blog address is that i love the word macchiato since i was young. although i have a very old and neglected blog using almost the same name, i dont want it to be replaced thius creating a new blog. i am almost 21 soon. and i am in a new place due to studies so creating a new blog might mean a new start of my life. a mature self. ( dontthinkitspossiblebutiwilltry) my intention to create this post is to share some food, scenery or things that i have bump into and i hope this blog will last long as i am a lazy person. taking picture on food and things is not really my forte. but i will try. stay tuned!!!
